With the hard work of the whole team, KlayGE 4.2 released today! In this version, the speed is accelerated, the quality is improved, and toolset is enhanced. The main updates are:

- Experimentally support WinRT platform
- Volumetric light (by Parsifal Wang)
- Improved DoF with Bokeh filter
- Decals rendering
- JudaTex packing tool (by Honyeung Lau)
- Toolset enhancement
- Camera path (assisted by Yi Wang and Qin Hu)
- Multi-viewport support
- Vertex structure optimization
- All directional SSR
- Better compute shader support
- Improved Juda texture
- GPU Sort
KlayGE 4.2 is still using dual license: A open source license GPL and a proprietary one KlayGE Proprietary License (KPL). Details in Licensing.
